Walnut and whitewood come together for a beautiful chess board! Wooden inlay chess board measures 17.5" square with a 15.375" playing board. Individual spaces are 1.875" square. Board is about 3" thick when closed, 1.5" when open.
Chess board is hinged in the middle and has a magnetic closure mechanism to create a secure compartment for storing the chess pieces. Inside, there are elastic straps for organizing and securing the pieces.
